Leah is known as a dexterous hunter, a fierce jungle warrior and a helper of the weak and the oppressed. The people from the village often come to her, when they need her assistance. Thus Leah was not surprised when one day she was asked for help again.
Two Europeans, Claire Redford and Mitch Bucannon, had come to their village and they needed a guide into an unknown part of the jungle where Claire's brother, Oliver, had last been seen. They want to find and presumably rescue him.
Leah knew that part of the jungle, ruled by the M'buti, a warlike tribe, she had confronted several times before. She is truly worried for Claire's brother and promises to help.
On the troublesome journey through the wild jungle a thunderstorm is the least oft heir worries...
